The brief
The finished wall combines several elements into one cohesive feature: a recessed television, low-level fitted storage, open shelving, an electric fire, vertical slatted detailing and full-height alcove furniture.
The slatted panels add texture and rhythm to the wall, softening the clean lines of the central media section. They also help the whole feature feel more architectural than a standard flat media wall.
How the project came together
The cabinetry has been designed around the room rather than bought as a standard unit. That means the proportions, shelf spacing, storage layout and overall finish all feel made for the space.
The Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue finish gives the project a richer, more premium appearance. It works especially well against the pale surrounding walls and warm neutral flooring, creating contrast without making the room feel dark.
Details worth noticing
This is a strong example of Fires In Stone’s broader interiors capability: not just fires and stoves, but complete fitted living room features finished to a high standard.
Project notes
- Caption confirms bespoke alcove units/bookcases and Stiffkey Blue finish.
- Image shows media wall, TV, electric fire, slatted feature panels and fitted cabinetry.
- Treat fuel type as electric because the visible fire is an electric/media wall fire.
- Do not describe as wood burning or gas.
- Good for fitted furniture, media walls and bespoke interiors categories.
